Your Local Connection
More from some of our local partners........
From Banele, Maqhawe, Anita and Darron in Swaziland ........ "Swaziland is very much a people place. Sure, it's got
mountains, rivers, forests, wildlife, art, craft and history, but the enduring memory that you, the traveller, will have of this country is its people. Warm, friendly, interested, uncomplicated and full of good humour - such are the people of Swaziland.
A purely automated booking service would never do the Swazi tourism product justice, thus we are very proud to be the human link between you and your discovery of the Kingdom. We're also proud to be associated with the country's various community-owned tourism facilities...we know just how hard it is to run a business and we're humbled by the effort these rural folk put into their hospitality. Please join us in finding new ways of using tourism to put a fresh smile on the warm face of Africa."
From Athif, Chaminda, Tharindu and Yasenthi in Sri Lanka ....... "we are your local connection in Colombo. We are extremely passionate about Sri Lanka and want to use our extensive local knowledge so each and every holiday is truly amazing.
We are actively involved in the local community and have been privileged to help in building local schools and providing them with computers, assisting tsunami widows in earning a living, and running an oil mill where the profits go back into the community. We would like to share the real Sri Lanka with you!"
From Thang, Manh, Minh, and Lien in Sapa, Vietnam ...... "the team here has a deep
passion for everything in Sapa: mountains, forests, climate, and the town... But if you asked us what we like most, it would have to be the minority people of Sapa.
In Sapa there are 5 minority ethnic groups who are rich in culture: The Mong; the Dzao; the Dzay; the Tay and the Xa Pho. Each group has their own unique traditions and customs which have been kept over time. It is amazing to see them going to the weekly market in their newest colourful clothes. Any one who works in tourism is proud when talking about them."
From Nynette, Tauasili and Anna in Samoa ........"We are situated inside the Samoa Tourism fale, on Beach Road in Apia. Our doors are always open and our offices are nice and cool. When you are in town come in and say hello. Nynette Sass, Tauasili Anesi and Anna Caswell will be happy to help make your stay in Samoa an enjoyable and memorable one."
From John and Silvana in Vanuatu ........"we are your local connection in Vanuatu. We
decided to make Vanuatu our home after managing two resorts in the country. A deep attachment to and respect for the people of Vanuatu and the country's natural heritage is at the core of our
personal and business philosophy. Vanuatu was voted as "The World's best place to live in" by the Happy Planet Index.
The Vanuatu islands are the heart of the Melanesian people, possessing a living ancient culture whose innocence and friendship will supply lifelong memories even to the most experienced and weary traveller."
